7 Synthetic fibers

Synthetic fibers are made of synthetic polymer compounds. Common synthetic fibers are polyester, nylon, nylon, polyvinyl chloride, nylon, spandex, and elastic yarn.

1. Polyester is the trade name of China. It is called “Dacolun”, “Telilun” and “Ditex” in foreign countries.

The biggest characteristic of polyester is that the quality is stable, the strength and wear resistance are better, the fabric made by it is stiff and not easy to be deformed, and the resistance of polyester is also induced; it has better chemical stability, at normal temperature, it is not Will interact with weak acids, weak bases, and oxidants.

Also, since the surface of the fiber is smooth, the cohesion between the fibers is poor, and the friction is often easy to fluff and form a ball.

2. Nylon is the trade name of China. Its scientific name is polyamide fiber; there are different varieties such as nylon-66, nylon-1010 and nylon-6. The name of nylon in foreign countries is also known as "nylon". "Nylon" is the world's first synthetic fiber variety. Because of its excellent performance and abundant raw material resources, it is once the most synthetic fiber. It was not until 1970 that due to the rapid development of multiple fibers, it was the second place in synthetic fibers.

The biggest feature of nylon is its high strength and good wear resistance.

In a dry environment, nylon is prone to static electricity, and short-fiber fabrics are also prone to pilling and pilling. Nylon's heat resistance and light resistance are not good enough. Ironing, however, can be attached to the body and is a good material for making various body shirts.

3. Acrylic fiber is a domestic trade name, and its scientific name is polyacrylonitrile fiber. Foreign countries are also known as "Aolun", "Cautel", "Delain" and so on.

Nielin's appearance is white, alkaline, fluffy, soft to the touch, resembling wool, multi-purpose and wool blend or as a substitute for wool, so it is also known as "synthetic wool." Nielin's hygroscopicity is not good enough, but it leads to better properties than wool and silk. Its abrasion resistance is poor in synthetic fibers, and the ironing temperature of nylon fibers is below 130 °C.

4. The name of Velon Velon is called polyvinyl formal fiber. Foreign countries are also known as "Vinnel", "Vinal" and so on.

Vinyl is white as snow, soft like cotton, so it is often used as a substitute for natural cotton, known as "synthetic cotton." The hygroscopic properties of vinylon are the best in the hygroscopic properties of synthetic fibers. Also, vinylon is better in abrasion resistance, light resistance and corrosion resistance.

5. The science of chlorinated polyvinyl chloride is called polyvinyl chloride fiber. There are "Tianmeilong" and "Rowell" in foreign countries.

The advantage of the chlorinated fiber is that it is chemically resistant; its performance is worse than that of wool, so it has strong heat preservation; it has high electrical insulation and is difficult to burn.

The disadvantages of the chlorinated fiber are also outstanding, that is, the heat resistance is extremely poor.

6. The science of spandex is called polyurethane elastic fiber, and it is also called "Lecquer" and "Spanzier" in foreign countries. It is a kind of elastic fiber with special elastic properties, which has been industrially produced and developed rapidly.

Spandex is excellent in elasticity. The strength is 2 to 3 times higher than the latex yarn, the linear density is finer, and it is more resistant to chemical degradation. Spandex is resistant to acid and alkali, sweat, seawater, dry cleaning, and abrasion resistance.

Spandex fibers are generally not used alone but are incorporated into the fabric in small amounts, such as plied with other fibers or made into core spun yarn, for use as a woven stretch fabric.

7. Introducing elastic fiber, inserting elastic fiber is a new type of elastic yarn which is made of thermoplastic elastomer by melt spinning, can withstand a high temperature of 220 °C, has chlorine bleaching resistance and strong acid and alkali treatment, and has characteristics of anti-ultraviolet degradation.
